Luxury Cruise

When I take these two for a walk or run it is like they are going on a luxury cruise (in my opinion).  We have endless food and drink, books and music for entertainment and you get to take ALL of your friends.

Your guys are REALLY lucky.

This is Graham either making a "request" of me or asking me why I stopped running.  RUDE.  To which I respond, Mommy is so tired.  Then he says Mama "WAKE UP".

You should try running or walking with all of these guys on the handle bars.  Why can't G hold them you say?  Oh, because he doesn't have room because he is reading!

Here is Graham telling me about the Monkey book and wondering why I am on this side of his stroller.

Track was just sleeping away...what a good baby.

Thank you mommy.

Really?

Just trying the picture thing one a few more times to get a good decent picture of the boys together for my Mother In Law.
Hey, over here!

G, please don't push T

Red Eye.

Revenge of the giant serious baby.

Maybe laying down is the answer...
Nope - worst one yet.

Try again?  I'm not sure I have what it takes to make two babies smile at one time.  And why can't my big one stop drooling for just one second?

Let's Hear it for their New Jammies (thanks Jo).

Oh, Okay okay, dying to see more?
Great pic here, profesh (j.sands)

G = silly, T = not amused

What is happening here?  Downhill decent started.

Can I push him just "this" much?

Ill use my whole hand to hold his head, surely that's what mom meant by "be careful and support his head".

G is SO over this.

I think G's thumb might actually be in T's mouth.

It's not really pushing if you use three fingers.

I officially GIVE up.  I am a terrible photographer or maybe I should fire my subjects.

Def Fire the subjects (prob not a skillz problem)....Boys, you are FIRED!

Let's Hear it for my (not on the same page) Babies.

Explanation

We decided to make one of our Halloween pumpkins into a Turkey.  Then I graciously explained to my 2 year old that we were going to eat a lot of turkey for Thanksgiving and Christmas.  To which, he leaned in for a closer look and said "no eat turkey".

Well, we are not going to eat the pumpkin dressed like a turkey, but an actual bird.  To which he said "cheep cheep".  End of conversation.  Good talk Graham, good talk.

Work with me Boys...

I am trying to get a good picture of my shy big boy and my unstable blob little boy for my mother in law.  Guys, Seriously...I do so much for you, can't you both just look at ma ma and smile.  Just one time, REALLY?  Did I mention I gave you life! (with the help of Jesus)

Here is what I have so far.  Oh, this is not what you were looking for said Mother In Law.  I don't know way not, these are close to professional.

Oh, I should just try again.

Here comes my personal favorite.

Really, Graham - you're just going to let Track fall over.  That is bad brothering.

This might be a two parent project.

Great Gifters...

So, Mike has an Uncle Jeff and Aunt Paige...really though it is just Jeff and Paige b/c they are our friends and seem close to our age (paige anyway - sorry Jeff).  Anyway, Paige is a GREAT gift giver.  From time to time the UPS man (my 2nd husband) shows up at the door with a package from Jeff, well really PAIGE and I always know it is about to be something amazing.

This years birthday gift for G.

IT'S a tiny Northface people!  AMAZING.  This compounds last years birthday gift.

It's an even tinier Northface.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

G - It's Your Birthday, We're Going to Party like its Your Birthday, We're going to sip Bacardi like it's your Birthday...

Graham turned two last weekend and we had his birthday party at the park.  Here are a few pictures to enjoy if you weren't able to make it to the party.

Good morning sleepyhead its time to greet your BIRTH day.  What's that you say, you don't care and you would rather sleep.  A typical 9:00am wake up for my big man, birthday or not.  That's ok his birthday isn't actually until around nooner and this mama appreciated the sleeping in.

What a great mom I am - I bet he will think this is funny later, right?

The decor.

The Birthday Boy.

To quench the questions (double Q's), It's a Hail Merry Tart.

No cupcakes for you!

He oooohhhedd and awwweeed over EVERY gift.  Priceless.

After Nap.
Playing new (hard) puzzles with Kels.

Meticulously opening one last gift from Ma Ma and Da Da.

It's a HOME RUN - YES!!...it's a baseball set (pun intended).
I love the crackers you can see in his mouth.

Finish the night with some nakey new book reading.

2nd Birthday Complete.  Whew (& Tear).  Thank you to EVERYONE who came to the party, who sent a gift, who called or just remembered that it was my sweet firstborns special day.  Raising this child is a community effort - from my heart - THANK YOU.

Let's Hear it for my BABY, Let's Hear it for my 2 Year old MAN.
